A word from the Director of Studies

As Director of Studies of the English Language Institute I am proud of the dedication and professionalism of our teachers. Young and enthusiastic, they are also committed to the principles of communicative English Language teaching.

As a student at ELI you can avail of our thorough Cambridge ESOL and IELTS exam preparation whilst also improving your overall English language competence.

Learning here is fun, but our teachers never forget that our students need to perfect their exam technique and their everyday language survival skills. We see the big picture here and are well versed in the Council of Europe’s Common Reference Levels. We know what our learners need to achieve.

With this in mind our teaching staff are constantly at hand to help, advise and encourage the individual learner.

Here at ELI you will be part of a dynamic learning environment which combines class work and projects with excursions of cultural and linguistic interest. The setting is very attractive and the atmosphere convivial. Your textbook will be provided and the resources of the school are at your disposal.
